Miles Traveled 227
Total Miles Traveled 3230
We left Green River State Park with dew on the ground which we had not seen since we left the East. We did a food shopping trip and then drove to Bryce Canyon. After we set up we walked around the rim. After supper we walked down part of the Navajo trail to see the sunset. There were hundreds of beautiful hoodoos which are tall colorful columns of rock. It is VERY hard to describe what we are seeing, as you have to be here to understand.

  1. Isn't this where Barbie blender was created?

  2. No! Barbie Blender was created at a NY State Campground (Gilbert Lakes?). Actually, Barb came up with that name for herself when she was shaking a box of pancake mix. Dad and Grandpa

  3. I think that was at the Chenango valley sp when you wouldn't go swimming with me.
I do think we had pancakes after our Bryce sunrise hike.

  4. I don't remember ever hearing of Gilbert Lake and I definitely don't remember NOT wanting to go swimming (must have been your other sister). What I do actually remember is having shipwreck at Bryce and not pancakes at all. Hmmm...I must have a really bad memory.

Mitchell wants to know who Barbie blender is :)

  5. Well now, I don't know why Bev doesn't remember Gilbert Lake. I believe that was there that Mr. Tree was created. Terry needs to look in the journal and see if we recorded any food items at Bryce. I hope Bev hasn't explained to Mitch who Barbie Blender is. We could keep this to one generation. :-) Love, MOM

  6. Too late mom. I'm sure the Tyler kids are reading this and they are also in the next generation.
